So we recently had our 4th annual Halloween extravaganza and calling it a success doesnt even begin to cover how fucking fabulous it was! No joke, at one point I came down stairs to about 150 people were in the house, 20 people were on the balcony and about 10-15 people were sitting infront of my door. It was INSANE!!! We had a hot, shirtless bartender, a gangbang of scantily clad girls, and yummy half naked guys!! Im glad everyone had a fantastic time getting wasted, dancing in a red lite room and getting into all kinds of naughty costumed fun! I have some of the insane pictures and will start posting them ASAP. I promise you will thank me later.
So I decided to read the book when I heard from my roommate that it was an exceptional and beautiful movie. The books is... wonderful. Slightly sad but wholly beautiful. The thing of it is, when you have a "creative" mind and slightly "loner tendencies" a book like this tends to open up a side of your thoughts that you try to pretend aren't there. Its nice to reconnect with those feelings however. Its nice to question and observe. Life, I believe is such a stunning journey. The people we met, the people we love, the defining moments that teach us who we are and what we want. All of it is stunning. Yet laced in tragedy. Every story has some sort of hilarious tragedy. Why do you think Shakespeare is considered such a genius? He observed and wrote on those tragedies and those triumphs. I suppose the key to life is turning every supposed tragedy into a small victory. And connections. In the end we are all looking for love-belonging. I always say this and it always holds the same meaning for me, be love. Love your life. I mean TRULY love your life. Because life, even with its tradegy and saddness is the most beautiful and fragile gift we're given. Love it with your whole heart and watch the magic happen. I have to go reconnect with an old friend now, I just thought I should write down the thoughts in my head. Thanks for taking the journey into "that side" of my mind with me. Li
